JAC’s Craft Smokehouse is opening a permanent location at 401 Trenton Street, West Monroe, Louisiana.
For fans of classic smoked meats and house-crafted sauces and seasonings, JAC’s Craft Smokehouse provides a quality and unique dining experience. From smoked brisket, pork, turkey and ham to fresh-ground burgers, house-made sausages, and hand-cut fries, every menu item is touched with smoke or fire to deliver a true smokehouse experience.

Owners Tracy and Kristi Carter started as owners and chefs of their own award-winning barbecue sauce and seasoning business in 2005. They transitioned into opening a full-service food truck in 2017 to wide community approval. Their classic barbecue brisket and pork sandwiches served with handmade barbecue sauce garnered rave reviews from thousands of satisfied customers. Since the beginning, every recipe they have created includes secret sauces and seasoning blends crafted to deliver the perfect flavor profile in every bite.
When the opportunity came to open a restaurant in Downtown West Monroe, Tracy Carter jumped at the chance: “We’re so blessed to be moving into this space at this time – there are big things happening in Downtown West Monroe, and JAC’s Craft Smokehouse is excited to be a part of the revitalization of this great town. We felt called to serve people with our food, and we love to see the community come out and enjoy what we make!”
The restaurant opens at half-capacity with 70 seats, including indoor and outdoor patio seating. They also offer catering and a venue space for private events. The exposed brick walls, patio area, and classic industrial-style décor provide a backdrop for any event, from birthday parties to rehearsal dinners.
